The function

Our global procurement organization is looking for a Procurement Business Analyst, who can perform procurement performance analysis and drive process & tool development for our departments world-wide, this in close cooperation with colleagues in other functions. In addition, the role holder will assume ownership, maintenance and development for the global procurement central business processes.
 
As our new Procurement Business Analyst you will have the responsibility to – in coordination with local and global stakeholders - continuously improve our global procurement tools such as contract database, supplier & material master data, spend data warehouse, KPI measurements and reporting. You will give inputs in the entire business process from identification of development needs to implementation and operational management of these tools.
With your strong analytical skills and with your insights into our procurement performance reports, you can identify and highlight improvement opportunities and risks in our procurement ways of working and results and advise the procurement leadership team on prioritization and selection of improvement initiatives. In your global role you will report to the CPO.

 

Requirements

As Procurement Business Analyst at Marel, it is a prerequisite that you have experience in a procurement environment. You are used to work with reporting tools, analyzing and improving data.
You have a Master’s degree in business administration and/or business economics and proven experience in project management. Experience with ERP (SAP) is a must.
Besides this the ideal candidate has or is focused on:
 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid analytical & communication skills incl. proactive stakeholder management
  • Strong drive and ambition for results and continuous improvement (content and process-wise)
  • Understanding of procurement processes and experience with spend management systems
  • Being a responsible and entrepreneur team player
Marel is an international company and our procurement groups are located across the globe, which is why you must be prepared to travel internationally up to 10% of your time.
The international aspect of the position requires strong skills in English, both in speaking and in writing.
