RotoMeat Harvesting System
- High yield
- Pressure levels adjustable during processing
- Constant control over yield, even when in full production
- Coarse textured end-product, ideally suited for further processing
- Little increase in temperature during process
- Durable and robust, low maintenance costs
Overview
A feed screw from the hopper conveys input material through a pre-sizer into a vane pump, which pumps the meaty bones into the filter.
Pressure build-up inside the filter is generated against an adjustable restraint. The pressure causes meat to extrude through the filter, while the auger discharges the bone residue through the restraint, simultaneously keeping the inside of the filter clean.
Applied in combination with the special filter configuration, the low pressure ensures a coarse textured end-product.
The RotoMeat accepts all types of poultry bones with a minimum of 40% meat on the bone, including frames, necks, wings or whole birds.
Features
- Input capacity of up to 600, 1000 or 2500 kg/hr, depending on version chosen and operational conditions
- Calcium in meat is well below legal requirements
- Eliminates cellular ruptures
