A NASCAR racing theme, seven new poultry solutions and more plasma screens showing our innovative solutions than any other exhibitor, these were just some of the highlights at the Marel stand at this year's International Poultry Exposition (IPE) in Atlanta, Georgia.

With more than 800 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 attendees, IPE is one of the world's largest shows dedicated to the poultry industry and the ideal platform at which to demonstrate to our customers why we should be their partmer of choice in helping take their company to the next level in 2011.

Since the event's inception, we have been one of the leading exhibitors, and with 5,600 square feet (520m²) of exhibit space this year, we once again showed that we are the world leader in poultry processing.

Our racing theme seemed to resonate well with visitors from the outset, and the stand was crowded even before the show doors officially opened. Many of our largest customers, including Gold'n Plump, Cargill and Tyson, to name a few, stopped in to see the Innovation Showroom, our customer-only area dedicated to highlighting the innovative solutions in processing equipment we have brought to market in the past year.

There were also several visitors from South America, a very important market, as well as a significant number of inquiries about turkey processing, a market segment which is set to play an increasingly important role in 2011.
