The Mayor of Aarhus City, Jacob Bundsgaard, Marel’s CEO, guests, trade press and Marel employees attended the opening in Aarhus on 3 November. The Mayor took the floor and said that companies like Marel are very important to a city like Aarhus, providing work places for the increasing population of the town.
After the Mayor cut the ribbon with a knife for a PortionCutter from Marel and officially opened the building, guests were given a tour of the offices and production facilities by Marel employees and were able to witness the facilities and live demos of the equipment built in Aarhus.
The opening of the new and refurbished facilities here in Aarhus is an important step for Marel in Denmark. With the new office we are improving and investing in our business which will deliver better solutions and services to our customers.
