Important changes at Marel

Marel today presents changes in its organizational structure, corporate identity and branding strategy. The changes will simplify and clarify Marel´s market approach and branding strategy and help position Marel for future growth and success.

Marel’s brand, vision, tagline and values have been redefined supporting Marel in taking further steps to unite its 4,600 employees around the globe and support the company in reaching its full potential.

Each of Marel´s three industries Marel Poultry, Marel Meat or Marel Fish operates in primary, secondary and further processing.

Further processing is no longer a separate industry unit within Marel but is now separate business unit working across the industries, poultry, meat and fish where it will support full line offering and value creation to food processors.

All industries are now united under one Marel brand, with one Marel logo, one tag line and redefined vision and one set of values.

Marel is led by the tagline, Advancing Food Processing. It shows the passion and drive to push the industry further by providing continuous stream of innovative solutions that help the industry advance.

Marel’s redefined values are Unity, Innovation, and Excellence. These three ideas encapsulate every area of Marel.

Marel´s new vision shows how Marel is different from competitors, and how Marel will continue to make a mark on the industry going further.

In partnership with our customers we are transforming the way food is processed. Our vision is of a world where food is produced sustainably and affordably., -

To support the new vision Marel has now adopted redefined guidelines and action plan on corporate social responsibility and has become a partner of the UN Global Compact on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

This step is taken in order to mark Marel´s commitment towards sustainability in all aspects of its operations.

Living the new brand starts now. Marel’s general annual meeting is today, 2 March, where the new corporate identity will be presented in more detail.
