The box-sorting solution now allows a unit to be routed through multiple junctions and box sorters before it reaches its final destination.
Sorting programs are now used to find the destination gate for a unit based on product, product type or customer. In the previous system setup, a product’s destination was completely fixed, but now the sorting program can be changed while production is ongoing, making rerouting of products easier.
Innova Release 5.6.0: The standard packing station now has an extension which allows images to be displayed on the product buttons.
The Innova label designer now supports EAN-13 barcodes with two or five add-on digits for weigh price labelers and outer case markers.
Both detailed and overview non-conformity reports now indicate whether a non-conformity is the result of an inspection response. The name and code of the response is noted in the Origin field.
Temperatures can be entered automatically onto inspection forms using ETI’s BlueTherm temperature probes, saving you from the need to input temperatures manually.
When performing a quality-control inspection, a variety of documents associated with the item being inspected can be viewed. The documents can be opened by clicking on the documents icon.
You can now preview labels for selected products on the WPL when using the WplPackingStationCE. The preview can be enabled by setting the Allow Preview configuration to true.
This new FleXicut dashboard shows a real-time overview of pieces as they are processed. It shows the portions generated by each piece and the overall yield. It also displays a graph that shows an overview of the yield of all pieces processed by the machine in the previous five minutes.
In the trimming module, a new option allows you to base active time measurements on whether a station is occupied or not. When this new option is selected, a station is considered active when an employee logs on to it. The total active time will then reflect the amount of time that the station was manned. This feature allows you to record the total amount of time an operator stays on a particular station, factoring in breaks and other settings defined in the day profile.
You can now combine different product types in the same batch when using Marel A600 graders. Innova can help you to configure which product types, counts and grades should be combined in the same batch. This allows you to create a great variety of product batches to better fulfill your customers’ requirements.
The checkweighing module now produces additional reports that show production results per shift and per hour:

The database maintenance module is now able to automatically rebuild indexes and update statistics for tables. This new functionality can be controlled by two new columns on the database maintenance form (see below).
The database indexes form now allows the system administrator to monitor the progress of indexes and statistics as they are being rebuilt and updated. The indexes for each table are automatically populated when maintenance is run on the table, as in the figure below.
The module also allows you to clean up old orders, purchase orders and lots by marking them inactive (see example below).
