Set to be opened in May 2018, the new factory will be become one of the most advanced salmon processing plants in the north. Annual capacity will be over 100,000 tons of salmon.
The project is a platform for innovative partnership that aims to drive the salmon processing industry forward. Lerøy will install the latest Marel technology, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
Working closely with Lerøy, Marel will supply innovative solutions for filleting lines, whole fresh salmon packing and logistics for the new plant. Lerøy’s approach is innovative and Marel is very proud to be delivering efficient high-tech applications for this groundbreaking project.
