Chief Financial Officer
Sebastiaan joined Marel in March 2024. He is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer, with experience working across a number of industries including industrials, food and beverage, and technology and, he has a proven record in supporting businesses deliver enhanced financial performances. He possesses international financial management and Board experience across Europe, the US, and Latin America and built and led teams in finance, IT and operational departments where he leveraged his broad financial background to deliver financial and commercial insight, reporting, and controlling. In addition, Sebastiaan has broad M&A experience, having managed equity sale, completed multiple cross-border acquisitions and divestments.
Most recently Sebastiaan spent 4 years at Southern Water where he served as Group Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Sebastiaan held CFO and senior financial roles at Arrow Global, SPI Group and Black & Decker, amongst others.
