For our Service organization, we are currently recruiting a:
Service Helpdesk Engineer Electrical
 

The function

Via our helpdesk, we offer our customers 24/7 technical support. As Service Helpdesk Engineer you have a dual responsibility. You run the helpdesk (together with your colleagues) for 3 weeks (1 week daytime, 1 week night time and 1 week office hours) and the following three weeks you work as a Field Service Engineer.

As Service Helpdesk Engineer you are the first point of contact for our customers and our Field Service Engineers, should they have any Electrical related issues. You ensure that our customers stay satisfied and you help them finding the right solution.

As Field Service Engineer (E) you are responsible for the preparation of assemblies and installations and the actual commissioning of control systems for poultry processing installations across the world. In larger projects, you will direct local colleagues and will communicate with the customer about progress. You will arrange customer training and will feed results back to the organization.

As a Service Helpdesk Engineer, you’ll follow an extensive introduction program. The first two years you’ll work fulltime as Field Service Engineer to gain knowledge of our equipment. During this program, you’ll work together with an experienced colleague, who will guide you. You’ll visit customers together.
 

Requirements

To be successful in this challenging job, you need to have finished your bachelor, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or industrial automation. You have experience with several control applications.
You can be described as a solid, self-reliant and analytically strong person. You have commercial interest and you have a hands-on mentality, you are flexible and resistant to stress. A good knowledge of the English language is a must. Just as your ability to travel (+/-50%).
