Products enter the machine, which has twenty units mounted on a conical cam. Then a leg loop and shoulder lifter position products correctly for entry of the machine’s units. Each unit has an infeed bracket and twin rotating nozzles, one for each side of the cavity.
Units enter the broilers cavity. Once the nozzles reach the bottom of the cavity, vacuum is applied and the nozzles remove lungs and any loose debris. Vacuum is switched off and the units drawn out of the carcass. All units are washed before the next cycle begins.
