Pack to pallet event success
Forty customers from ten countries participated in the first Packing, Labeling and Dispatch Event held at Progress Point, Marel’s demonstration center in Copenhagen, this week. The event gave food processors across the meat, fish and poultry industries the opportunity to find out how Marel’s packing hall offering could help improve their processes from pack, to box, to pallet and dispatch.
The day offered a combination of key note presentations about packaging safety and trends in the packaging industry, as well as machine demonstrations in the facility’s demonstration area.
The guest speakers from the packaging industry included Massimo Fedel (SafetyPack Project), Joe Fiondella (Sealed Air) and Rob Travers (Sealpac UK).
The equipment demonstrated included a wide range of standalone, semi-automatic and automatic labeling and totalizing lines from Marel’s comprehensive offering for the Packing Hall, including Marel’s TrayTrack tray handling system, the introduction of Marel’s new MCheck 2 Checkweigher, and the latest Innova software, including the new Innova Label Design module for the WPL9000 Weigh Price Labeler range.
