As founding father of the only true low pressure portioning technology Marel changed the intermitting high pressure forming technology to smoothly rotating, continuous portioning at low pressure. The technology, covered by multiple patents, has set the industry benchmark. Since its market introduction several developments have been launched and fully embraced by the food industry.
In 2018 the result is a wide range of successful, proven solutions and an installed base of 500 Marel RevoPortioner systems all over the world. Every day hundreds of RevoPortioners contribute successfully to the profitability of processors in the poultry, meat, fish and seafood industry, as well as in pet food, vegetables, potato products and non-meat proteins. Among customers are the largest certified global QSR suppliers, providers of institutions and retail suppliers that praise the versatility and flexibility.
The RevoPortioner enables processors to produce the widest possible range of very consistent convenience products, from famous classics like hamburger patties and nuggets at the highest production volumes, up to natural looking and 3D products in smaller batches.
HELIX DRUM TECHNOLOGY
With virtually no meat loss, unrivalled weight control, the possibility to portion whole muscle products and the lowest possible cost of ownership, we will now introduce the next step in continuous portioning of end products. With our new, patented Helix Drum Technology processors are able to raise production volumes, increase the operational window and lower wear and tear of the system. Experience how this new RevoPortioner development can contribute to your profitability at CFIA.
Marel’s MCheck 2 provides another hands-on experience occasion. This cross-industrial checkweigher can monitor and optimize the accuracy of processing equipment, and ensure compliance with weight legislation across a wide range of products. Optional single and multi-frequency metal detection ensures quality control on single and multi-product lines.
MCheck2 weighs and checks a wide variety of indexed packs or pieces in a continuous flow against predetermined limits. It prevents underweight and/or overweight packages and rejects ‘out of spec’ packs.
