A bustling start of IPPE
As Marel’s first large exhibition of the year, this is the most important exhibition for the poultry and meat industries in North America. Our impressive 6,000 square foot stand consists of a relaxed social area, a dedicated kitchen and chef’s table and an enticing platform for all our innovative equipment.
When it comes to equipment, Further Processing is presenting the new Frank-A-Matic Linker. Incorporating over 50 years of equipment, knowledge, and technological expertise, this fourth generation Marel Frank-A-Matic linker offers industry leading consistency in weight and length control for continuous, high-speed collagen and cellulose cased products.
Also highlighted this year is our RevoPortioner 700. The RevoPortioner allows you to make perfectly portioned products at low pressure, which retain the texture and structure of your raw material. Regardless of whether you are processing poultry, beef, pork, fish or meat replacers, the RevoPortioner ensures that each product will always have the desired shape, weight, size and be of uniform quality.
With our new, patented spiral drum technology processors are able to raise production volumes, increase the operational window and lower wear and tear of the system.
Day one of IPPE was a very busy day from start to finish. With an estimated 30,000 visitors to this year’s exhibition, Marel had many customers to engage with throughout the first day. Everyone enjoyed Chef Jacques Roosenbrand’s creations from the kitchen.
The live demo of the Automated Nugget Line brought about much attention as visitors admired the precision of the cut nuggets.
At the end of the day, Einar Einarsson, Marel USA President, said “It’s been a fabulous first day full of great conversations with customers and the stand looks amazing.” The IPPE team was very pleased with day one and we look forward to the next two days being just as successful.
