Latest developments

One of these companies was Marel, presenting the industry centers Meat, Stork Poultry Processing and Townsend Further Processing. The exhibition center’s doors opened at 2 pm local time on Tuesday the 13th and heralded the start of a very active exhibition. The discussions were at a high technological level and there was a great deal of interest in our latest developments.

According to Rogivaldo Oliveira, Sales Manager, TecnoCarne has been, once again, an important chance to establish contacts with colleagues, existing customers and potential new customers. “We had the chance to meet the management teams of large organizations as well as medium and small companies that are equally important for our consolidation as ‘the customer’s choice’ on the market”, Oliveira explains.

Integrated projects

Marcelo Machado, General Manager of the Marel office in Brazil, stated, “During TecnoCarne we made a very strong point to our clients that Marel in Brazil is fully capable of developing integrated projects in Meat processing plants in the same way as we are already doing in the Poultry business, by bringing a specialist in designing 21st century meat processing plants to the Brazilian market.”

“This has already become a reality through the sale of the first DeboFlex system in Brazil, which shows that Brazilian companies are willing to adopt new concepts and designs in their factories,” Machado continues. “On the Further Processing side, we have been taking large steps with the RevoPortioner, which has already become the market reference in burger production. On top of that, the efforts in bringing QX sausage production systems to Brazil should be giving positive results soon.”

Machado concludes, “Those new areas will make a big difference in the Industry product mix for 2014 and the exhibition has shown that the ground work done in recent times is already providing positive results.”
