Marel Poultry seizes Russian growth potential
During VIV Russia Marel Poultry will launch the Stork Thigh Fillet System, the world's first inline high-capacity thigh filleting solution. It now is easy to separate the thigh bone carefully from thigh meat in large volumes with highest yield and consistency. This high-speed solution mimics a butcher's quality cut, performing a high-tech automated operation. The knee cap is removed accurately and manual trimming is at no point needed. VIV Russia will witness the Russian launch of this revolutionary system, which is able to produce industrially retail quality thigh fillet products.
Another focus point for Marel Poultry during VIV Russia is the AMF-i. This intelligent breast cap filleting solution doesn't need manual adjustments to changing breast cap sizes anymore. It automatically detects changing dimensions of incoming products and communicates its data to the downstream deboning modules which adapt themselves accordingly. The Wishbone Remover-i, with its cam controlled knife, and the Halving Module-i, using two adaptively cutting knives, are examples of the self-adjusting modules which follow the directives from the measurement unit. In this way, the intelligent AMF-i system achieves adaptive filleting with highest yield without human intervention needed.
Food safety with Innova
Modern poultry processing can't do without an intelligent software package anymore. Highly automated processing requires ever more production control and management information. Marel's Innova food processing software is able to optimize profits and overall production performance.
Food safety and traceability are key issues nowadays, which can also be fully covered by Innova software. At our VIV Russia stand, we will have an Innova presentation to show you the multitude of options this program offers.
