At our stand, Marel Poultry, Marel Meat, Further Processing and Water Treatment presented the latest innovations in meat and poultry processing.
Marel Poultry could welcome a great number of visitors during the five days of the trade show customers. They varied from farmers looking for investments in new business fields to the biggest poultry holdings in Russia. Our sales managers were busy all the time and marked some really productive days. They had fruitful meetings with many existing customers concerning expansion projects and other new opportunities. Also new prospects from Russia and the CIS countries showed a lot of serious interest in our poultry processing solutions.
Overall, the Agroprodmash audience was looking for automation in the broad sense of the word. This could imply the start of industrial poultry processing by means of an entry-level capacity line, for which Marel Poultry has the global knowledge and the local solutions available. We can offer made-to-measure technologies to cover each process stage, from live bird handling to packing, at every capacity level, starting from 500 bph.
Marel Poultry’s logistic solutions also received high attention in Moscow. SystemFlex conveyor systems, TrayTrack tray packing systems and Marel Intra-Logistics all can play important roles in automating a poultry processing plant.
The Russian demand for automation also touched upon the switch from manual deboning to AMF-i intelligent breast cap filleting. AMF is a well proven solution with hundreds of installs worldwide, including many systems in Russia. In the latest AMF-i generation, a higher level of intelligence has been added to even out the different sizes of breast caps fed to the system. Based on data provided by the initial measurement, downstream deboning modules adjust themselves automatically to each individual breast cap. In this way, the adaptive filleting system produces consistently high yield, with no human input needed.
