Marel Poultry equips Australian and New-Zealand poultry processors to meet future challenges
High quantity and quality visitors at CFIA
About 18.000 professionals in the food industry visited the Parc Expo at Rennes airport during the three-day exhibition. The overall atmosphere was excellent at this French food industry trade show, which is one of Europe’s largest.
For the first time, the shared Marel stand revealed the new brand style, which resulted in a smart, yet elegant design. At the booth, plenty of activity was going on, with the opportunity for system demonstrations as well as inspiring meetings with customers.
To provide all enthusiastic visitors with the best possible hands-on experience, Marel Poultry presented, for the very first time at the CFIA, real-life poultry processing equipment on its stand. One of the exposed systems was the Stork LegPositioner NT, which attracted a lot of attention. Professionals from the industry were seriously interested in the way this labor-saving, in-line module simplifies leg handling. The ability to position selected leg products perfectly on a belt conveyor, always in the same fixed position and (adjustable) pitch captivated the audience.
Other systems that were professionally demonstrated by expert product specialists, were the I-Cut 130, which is suited for turkey cuts, and the Innova production management software. Visitors showed particular interest in the on-screen simulation of the production in a poultry processing plant.
This CFIA 2016 edition showed to be a valuable event for Marel Poultry, emphasizing our commitment to our customers and our passion for poultry processing.
