Optimizing the value of residual poultry meat
Marel will stage a seminar in Copenhagen on how to add more value to previously deboned or primal poultry parts.
Thanks to the large interest in its first edition, the event will take place once more on the 19th of March in Marel`s newest demo center, Progress Point.
Target of the event is to inform the different stakeholders in the value chain of residual meat; from slaughtering companies till further processors.
All these parties can benefit from the best match between input (poultry parts) and output (residual meat) of meat harvesting equipment and end products (cooked or fresh).
Other important topics to be discussed are: rules and regulation and methods for determining the meat quality.
Presentations will be given by Marel specialists as well as external specialists in the field.
The different meat harvesting techniques, linear (DMP45) and rotating (RotoMeat, RotoCoarse) will be demonstrated live with several poultry products. Processors can experience how meat harvesting can add more value to their products.
Slaughtering companies, poultry processors and further processing companies are invited to participate.
