The trade fair season is in full swing. The triple appearance occurred just after having concluded the MercoAgro trade fair in Brazil and the IPEX 2016 in Pakistan.
MercoAgro and IPEX
"Marel Poultry attended the MercoAgro since its inception and, for us, the event is an important showcase of innovations to the market, and the opportunity to be closer to customers and strengthen the business partnerships. In partnership with customers, we aim to offer innovative systems for the production of quality food, sustainable and cost effective way for companies. There is no better place or more focused audience than MercoAgro to promote these solutions, " says Lambert Rutten, Commercial Manager of Marel Poultry in Brazil.

During CIMIE in China (27 - 29 Sept), the theme was "Progression and development with the customer", illustrating the way we provide full support for customer progress and improvement by adding more value to poultry processes. Focus was on our brand new Stork module for the ACM-NT cut-up system, which manages to reproduce industrially the skilled, manual movements of a traditional Chinese cut.
Our professional team succeeded in meeting with many of our existing customers as well as new contacts from China.
In Poland, the country in Europe with the largest broiler processing industry, the Polagra Tech trade fair (26 - 29 Sept) was a great success for Marel Poultry. Sales Manager Wojciech Waczkowski and Regional Sales manager Mathieu van Dongen received many customers on the stand, where the accent was on Stork Nuova evisceration, SmartWeigher and AMF-BX FlexControl. By advancing poultry processing, we presented ways to support Polish processors in improving productivity and efficiency.
On the African continent, the AgrikExpo in Nigeria (26 - 28 Sept) was a fairly new event for Marel Poultry. We teamed up with our agent Teco to present the entire range of processing solutions, from live bird handling up to packing and labeling. African poultry processors who were looking for new challenges, could discover how our innovative solutions can support them in finding exactly the right answers to the local market needs.
After these five expositions in a row, the high season is not over yet. Saudi Agriculture in Saudi Arabia (2-5 Oct) and Congreso Nacional Avicola in Colombia (5 - 7 Oct) are waiting, followed by the AgroProdMash in Russia.
