The Marel Emulsifier is designed for finest cutting and emulsifying of meat products. Our highly efficient emulsifier processes meat products at the highest levels of food hygiene. The cutting system is very easy to operate thanks to the rotor-stator cutting principle.
Depending on product and process, the throughput capacity lies between 1,000 and 5,000 kg/hour.
Either the hopper or the tubing can feed the raw ingredients mixture to the Emulsifier. This mixture is transported in the direction of the cutting tool by means of a screw – in case of a hopper – or the under pressure – in case of tubing –, created in the cutting tool. The cutting head (rotor) rotates in a contact-free manner within the cutting ring (stator) with a velocity of 3,000 rpm. Between the cutting blade of the cutting ring and the blade of the cutting head the scissor-cut is performed. Subsequently, the product is transported to the outlet.
The cutting ring defines the clearance, which is between 3 and 0.2 mm. When using a double cutting tool with different clearances, multiple cutting operations can be carried out at once.
The special design of the stainless steel machine offers quiet running and easy cleaning. Also maintenance is made easy by the large fitting apertures.
