We are looking for a Business Controller to join our team in Gardabaer with a hybrid working policy, to act as a business partner to support and take part in management decision-making, risk analysis, performance management and business development, while ensuring governance and compliance for your location/region.

In your daily tasks, you will:

Support of the strategic and operational planning process as well as forecasting
Translate objectives into capacity planning and investment plans for the location, reviews/challenges man and machine hour rates, service tariffs, utilization, et cetera
Manage monthly reporting and analysis to monitor KPI’s and targets to measure performance of the different functions/locations
Review and challenge performance with local business/function responsible persons. Secure necessary corrective actions are taken if and when required
Analyze financial performance to gain insight into business trends and identifies key drivers for achieving goals
Project reporting and control (pre/post)
Actively drive or be involved in improving above activities, providing better insights and become a proactive sparring partner for local business management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Economics or equivalent
Strong background in finance, controlling, forecasting and planning
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
Proficiency in English
Practical experience in cost accounting, calculation of tariffs and project control, as well as ERP/BI tools.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively across organizational levels
Ability to maintain a global perspective, influence/impact, be service oriented and to effectively manage change
