Continuous Improvement Specialist

 Lead the Drive for Operational Excellence

At JBT Marel, we’re on a mission to improve the way food is processed — and we're looking for a Relentless Continuous Improvement (RCI) Specialist to champion smart, scalable improvements in our Spare Parts organization. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, applying methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to eliminate waste, boost performance, and elevate the customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a RCI Specialist, you'll mentor and inspire teams at our local distribution center, enabling them to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll identify opportunities, coach teams, and execute impactful projects that drive real, measurable change.

• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects, manage corrective actions, and drive long-term improvements
• Facilitate improvement initiatives such as Gemba Walks, Kaizen events, 5S, workshops, and root cause analysis
• Design and deliver a CI training program in collaboration with global Spare Parts teams
• Coach employees on Lean and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and training documentation
• Use data analysis to support initiatives, track progress, and report measurable outcomes

What Kind of Person Are You?

You’re a change-maker who sees opportunity in every inefficiency. You lead by example, make data-driven decisions, and love helping others thrive through training, coaching, and problem-solving.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in process optimization, project management, or operations
• Green Belt certification or higher (Lean Six Sigma)
• Strong experience with Lean tools like value stream mapping and standard work
• SAP experience preferred; strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across all organizational levels
• Experience driving sustainable change and process improvement across teams
