On 14 June 2023 at Foodtech Taipei, Marel joined a media conference held at the booth of Anyong Biotechnology. The conference marked a momentous occasion as Marel and Anyong Biotechnology officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, solidifying their strategic partnership.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Wilbur Kuo, Chairman of Anyong Biotechnology and Julien Vidus, Sales Director at Marel Asia and Oceania
Marel's delegation at the signing included Julien Vidus, Regional Sales Director for Fish in Asia and Oceania, and Kati Chen, the local Account Manager for Taiwan. Before the official signing of the MoU, Vidus and Chen took the stage to deliver a speech. They emphasized Marel's recognition of the vital role that partnerships with customers possessing extensive market knowledge play in transforming the food processing industry.
