Senior Manager Sales Operations Further Processing, PF EMEA
The Senior Manager Sales Operations – Further Processing, PF EMEA is responsible for leading the back-office sales function within the Further Processing business area. The position manages a diverse department including sales engineers, project managers, structural work specialists, and demand planners.
This role ensures the efficient execution of the market-to-order and order-to-cash processes across Further Processing, including quotation preparation, order execution, pre- and post-calculations, and related operational activities. The Senior Manager Sales Operations will establish and maintain the organizational structure, processes, and resources necessary to support the sales organization in achieving revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction.
The role is a member of the Further Processing Management Team and contributes to the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the infrastructure and processes that ensure an efficient sales operation across Further Processing entities.
Collaborate with Prepared Foods front-line sales EMEA, and support other regions to strengthen the sales pipeline and create customer-focused solutions.
Define, implement, and monitor KPIs to measure and optimize performance across the market-to-cash process.
Align the operational work with the sales operations team through capability frameworks, training programs, mentoring, and regular reviews.
Lead strategic planning and execution for sales operations within Further Processing.
Oversee all structural work for sales, including industry pre-sales and post-transaction calculations.
Manage human resources activities within the team, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and development.
Drive employee knowledge enhancement to ensure alignment with technological and process advancements.
Build and foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders including the Sales Director and Director Sales Support to ensure seamless processes and maximized profitability.
Execute sales projects within the EMEA region and provide support to other regions as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales operations management, ideally within the food processing or similar engineered-to-order industry.
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven track record in leading diverse, international teams and managing complex sales processes.
Strong strategic and tactical planning capabilities.
Process-driven with excellent change management and organizational skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to inspire and influence across levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with multicultural awareness.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business development.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
