Are you ready to make a difference in the fish processing industry? As our new Customer Care Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting fish producers in Central and Southern Norway. With your technical know-how and customer-focused mindset, you'll help our customers get the best performance from their JBT Marel equipment by offering tailored service solutions such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and spare parts.

JBT Marel is known for its advanced fish processing solutions, including equipment such as filleting machines, graders, portioning systems, and packing solutions, all designed to enhance efficiency and quality in fish production. You'll visit fish processing facilities, building relationships and providing insights that help improve their processes and reliability. By understanding their needs, you'll identify opportunities and offer solutions that add real value to their business.

Your role at a glance:

  • Visiting customers—both on-site and remotely—to identify opportunities for service solutions and spare parts
  • Managing the entire service sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, offering solutions that fit the customer's needs
  • Collaborating with Service Area Managers for regional insights, Service Engineers who provide hands-on support, and Account Managers focusing on new equipment sales

What do we look for in you?

We value diversity and individuality, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working independently and thrives in a technical, customer-focused role. Ideally, you have:

  • A technical education (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering) or a background in Business Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales environment, preferably within capital equipment or service solutions
  • A good understanding of the food processing industry—experience in fish processing is a plus
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English
  • The ability to organize your tasks and manage your own schedule
  • A willingness to travel frequently (up to 80% of your time)
