Procurement Operations & Process Support Internship
To provide hands-on support to the procurement team in day-to-day operations, supplier communications, and data management, while gaining exposure to strategic sourcing and supply chain best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Procurement Support
- Assist in creating and managing purchase orders in the ERP system (e.g., SAP).
- Help monitor order status and follow up with suppliers on delivery confirmations.
- Support invoice and receipt matching and resolve discrepancies with finance.
2. Supplier & Data Management
- Maintain and update supplier master data and documentation.
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers.
- Assist with organizing and archiving contracts and sourcing documents.
3. Reporting and Analytics
- Compile and clean procurement data for regular reporting.
- Prepare dashboards and overviews of spend, supplier performance, or open orders.
- Support ad hoc reporting needs of the team.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate with internal stakeholders such as planning, logistics, and production to align procurement activities.
- Participate in team meetings and help document action items or decisions.
5. Process Improvement Contributions
- Observe current workflows and identify opportunities for simplification or automation.
- Suggest improvements based on intern observations or feedback from team members.
Ideal Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Good communication skills in English.
