Join our team as Field Service Engineer and you will be part of dynamic and innovative company to support our customer in Philippines. In this role, you will provide customer support for installed systems and new installations. You will develop the skills to test, troubleshoot, repair and optimize processing equipment in the poultry industry.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for scheduled maintenance execution and installations.
  • Responsible for customer communication and for all customer support, including phone, remote and emergency support. To ensure that all aspects of the role lead to a satisfied customer experience in the Region or Territory the person is responsible for.
  • Responsible for adopting the Marel professional management values and use them positively, that in turn, delivers the expected customer satisfaction thus securing the organisation’s goals for growth, sales, and profit.
  • Maintain adequate control of own spare parts inventory to ensure that all standard parts needed to carry out repairs and maintenance are available at all times.
  • Promote spare parts sales to customers in the Region or Territory the engineer is responsible for.
  • Customer assistance for spare part number identification and identify the spare part needs of customers and initiate spare part quotations where applicable.
  • Process Warranty claims.
  • Monitor tools and test equipment, spare parts inventory, and the condition and maintenance of job facility vehicle (if applicable) and other property/assets assigned, to ensure optimum availability and professional appearance in front of the customers.
  • Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and activity records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, KPI evaluation and discuss improvement of such during field visits.
  • Analyse information to determine needs for successfully planned installations, services, or repairs.
  • Ensures that all Installations, Planned maintenance and Emergency Support executed are provided in on time and within budget.
  • Assist Spare Parts Coordinators to ensure correct re-order points are set in spare parts systems based on stock movement.
  • Attend Marel Group training (technical or otherwise local or international) as and when required.

What we're looking for

Professional Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification- Mechanical and/or Electrical
  • Relevant tickets and licences
  • Engineering Diploma (Mechanical and/or Electric) - Desirable

Experience:

  • Experience in a service engineering role within equipment/technical industry sector
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Understanding of HSE compliance
  • Experience in the FMCG sector - Desirable
  • Experience with Marel equipment - Desirable

Working Environment: 

Depending on assigned work, the environment in a plant is cold, hot, humid, and wet. Customer demands dictate work during early mornings, late nights, and weekends. You must be comfortable working in an animal food production environment for Poultry.
