Right now, we’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a mission to drive meaningful business process improvements at Marel by leveraging existing IT solutions or developing custom solutions with your team. Doing so, supporting Marel’s mission of transforming the food production industry.

Among other tasks, here’s what you’ll be doing as a Senior Business Analyst:

• Analyzing business needs and translating them into practical IT solutions.
• Collaborating with business colleagues to uncover the root of their requests, challenging IT demands, and identifying the most effective solutions for Marel.
• Drafting detailed designs and specifications that are aligned with both business requirements and IT capabilities.
• Supporting the configuration, implementation, and delivery of IT solutions.
• Planning, leading, and monitoring individual IT projects (approximately 25% of your role), ensuring alignment with the IT Road Map.

• Proven experience in conducting high-quality analyses and proposing impactful improvements.
• The ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of business processes.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools.
• Familiarity with organization-wide IT systems, such as ERP, CRM, PDM/PLM, and CAD.
• A proactive and professional attitude, with a strong focus on quality and internal customer satisfaction.
• A passion for innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages like German or Spanish is a plus
