The Deheader MS 3028 was developed to help processors increase product yield, reduce labor dependency, and streamline operations.
At the heart of this solution is high-accuracy, clean cutting. A key element in minimizing waste and improving overall filleting results. Three precision knives perform a V-cut and a third straight cut along the spine optimizing cut quality. Processing up to 25 fish per minute, the deheader optimizes fillet values and increases throughput and uptime. A single operator places each fish onto the eye pin, ensuring cuts are measured from the eye. This automated measurement and adjustment provides accurate deheading for salmon between 1.5 - 10 kg in size.
