Marel, MAJA and TREIF reconnected with customers from around the world at IFFA between May 14-19 in Frankfurt, Germany. Visitors were wowed by our 1,540 sqm stand, where more than 40 of our most innovative solutions and single-skill equipment were on display.
Showcasing connectivity at IFFA 2022
Our theme, “transforming food processing through connectivity,” highlighted the many ways we are connecting food processing with unique partnerships, world-class service, and automated, modular and digital solutions.
The trends and issues that we discussed with our customers included easing the stress of labor scarcity, increasing sustainability and gaining better control over their production in real-time. Some of our most forward-thinking solutions were available to demonstrate to customers how we address these critical factors.

Visitors to our booth experienced our solutions in person and online. Marel employees from our Oberlahr office were live streaming demos of our single-skill equipment, while those in the Progress Point Copenhagen demo center were live streaming integrated lines for back-to-back viewings. Guests enjoyed chef Jacques Roosenbrand’s exquisite food in large restaurant seating areas on two floors and two chef’s tables.

We’re so glad to be able to come together and meet our customers in person once again to discuss how together we can transform meat processing. Visitors showed great interest in our primary processing robots, deboning and portioning systems, and data-driven solutions in response to the issues they are facing today.
