It’s more than 20 years since the Filleting Machine CT 2630 changed filleting forever. How one machine solves your biggest filleting challenges by making more from salmon and trout.

You don’t need a large-scale operation to benefit from increased automation. The Filleting Machine CT 2630 offers smaller and mid-sized processors a way to solve critical challenges faced across the industry today: inconsistent yields, limited space, tight budgets, and skilled labor shortage.

Revolutionizing the industry in 2003, today the second-generation CT 2630 continues to demonstrate its worth, providing high-quality filleting of salmon and trout at a cost-effective price to increase the accuracy and yield of their filleting line.

Maximize yield, minimize labor dependency, reduce water use

Manual filleting creates bottlenecks in production lines and keeps waste of valuable raw materials high.

With a single operator, the CT 2630 can fillet up to 20 fish per minute, increasing throughput and fillet consistency to make more of your yield. Using only 10 liters of water per minute, the CT 2630 saves you not only on labor, but can reduce your water consumption by millions of liters a year.

Quality cutting

The unique cutting principle ensures gentle, flexible filleting of salmon, trout and other fish with a similar bone structure.

As each fish is fed into the CT 2630, a combination of a bandsaw and a circular blade cut fillets with accuracy that minimizes waste. During filleting, a pneumatic bone extractor gently pushes out the bone frame ensuring optimal end results. Each fillet is of consistent high quality, so you can command better prices and keep your customers happy.

Space saving design to integrate into any line

The small footprint of the CT 2630 enables it to fit seamlessly into existing or new filleting production lines. As your business grows and the production line changes, the CT 2630 can be easily relocated to optimize production flow and capacity with minimal effort.

The CT 2630 integrates seamlessly with other JBT Marel filleting solutions that can increase operational ease and precision as you expand your filleting capabilities. Including deheading stations, trimming lines, pinbone removal, scanning, and skinning.

Three decades of proven service

When equipment breaks down, every minute costs money. The CT 2630 is a fully mechanical machine. This simplicity means fewer breakdowns and faster repairs when service is needed. The self-sharpening band saw reduces maintenance, while ensuring each cut is clean. After thirty years of successful filleting in hundreds of processing operations around the world, you know you’re investing in a proven solution with the CT 2630.

Operational ease and flexibility

After deheading, fish are placed belly side up in the infeed tube. The feeding belts carry them to the cutting section where a band knife cuts from top to tail, while the circular knives cleanly cut along either side of the backbone. Front mounted controls allow operators to fine-tune settings without stopping production. Larger adjustments to suit species and size differences between 2 – 7 kg can be easily carried out between batches.

Robust build for daily demands

Designed with hygiene in mind, the stainless-steel construction is robust, able to withstand constant use and frequent washdowns. Easy access panels assist interior cleaning and enable maintenance access.
