The Innova User Conference for Fish Processors was held at Marel’s Progress Point demo center in Copenhagen on 26-27 September.

Some of the biggest whitefish and salmon producers in the industry were among the 26 customers and partners from around the world who participated in the conference. The primary aim of the conference was to help fish industry customers realize the full potential of Innova.

Getting more out of Innova

Marel’s Innova specialists provided focused training and assistance to help attendees become advanced Innova users, but the participants also took the opportunity to learn from one another during the course of the event, and Terje Saeverud, IT Manager at Bremnes Seashore, was guest speaker.

“The Innova conference teaches us, as a supplier, together with our customers, how to customize Innova even better, for their specific needs,” said Hans Pauli Petersen, Sales Manager at Formula in the Faroe Islands. “In addition, it gives us all a better understanding of the ‘Innova future’ so we are better equipped to deal with future challenges.”

“It’s been great to provide this platform for our customers to learn directly from the Innova team, as well as from their colleagues,” said Haraldur Gunnlaugsson, Innova Marketing Manager at Marel. “It’s especially rewarding to share stories about how Innova is making such a big difference in how fish processors are gaining full production control.”

The two-day conference covered a range of Innova insights including an overview of new Innova features and upcoming releases, new track and trace features, and tips on how Innova can improve production efficiency and speed.

Some conference participants extended their stay in Copenhagen and joined Marel for the Whitefish ShowHow taking place on 28 September.
