Jesper has been with Marel for 18 years and successfully held numerous leadership roles, most recently leading Wenger, Prepared Foods, and Business Development. Olafur Sigurdarson, EVP Fish, has after 9 years decided to leave Marel to pursue another opportunity. Olafur will assist in transitioning responsibilities to Jesper until end of September.
Complementary portfolios and operations in RFS and Fish
Our goal in bringing RFS and Fish together is to deepen the two businesses' strengths and the combined portfolio's complementary nature to create an even stronger value proposition for our customers, as many Fish customers also have solutions from the RFS portfolio.
