With the carcass washing and polishing machines, carcasses are cleaned under optimal hygienic conditions. The machine line includes a number of modules to handle up to 1,400 pigs per hour. The combination of flexible whips and a correct rotation speed ensures optimal cleaning.
Dirt is removed from the skin in the pre-washer, which greatly improves the scalding process and prevents contamination of the scalding water
Loose hairs and moisture are removed from the carcass skin in the pre-dryer, increasing the singeing effectiveness.
In the polishing machine, the skin surface is cleaned intensively. The combination of horizontally and vertically positioned rollers with whips provides an extra thorough cleaning of head and front feet.
The completely stainless steel cabin with rounded corners has smooth inner and outer walls, which allows for quick and thorough cleaning of the machine. A water film keeps the interior walls and ceiling clean during the slaughter process, thus minimizing bacteria growth. The controlled water discharge to the drain pipe prevents splashing of the cleaning water. The absence of the access doors prevents cross-contamination
Machine modules with different roller positions and lengths can be used for normal pigs and sows. The machine design allows for the use of brush rollers instead of whip rollers. By using the specially developed Click Whip®, thorough cleaning and easy exchange of worn whips are combined.
