The Marel Cattle Stunning Cage is characterized by a perfect fixation of the head before and during the stunning process, allowing the operator to accurately position the stun gun. Accurate stunning is not only animal-friendly, it also provides a significant improvement of the meat quality.

For stunning of both cattle and calves, a cage type with an adjustable width is available.

The robust stainless steel cage is mounted next to a structural platform from which all functions can be easily operated. After stunning, the cow correctly falls into the receiving channel beside the stunning cage, because of a tilted floor. This allows for easy and safe shackling.
