Marel’s new Nuova-i eviscerator is a major step towards an intelligent, digitalized primary process. The Nuova-i allows for automated flock adjustments. These can be controlled by a touchscreen, allowing a switch to the perfect flock settings in a matter of seconds. Thanks to the internal machine software, Nuova-i can measure its own performance, allowing real-time insight into each unit. The remote monitoring, evaluation and improvement of performance and status illustrate Nuova-i’s connectivity. Even remote support is possible.

The AMF-i breast deboning system features adaptive intelligence. AMF-i automatically detects the size of uncalibrated breast caps fed to the system. You no longer have to select manually a product size related recipe, as module settings adjust themselves automatically to the measured product size. In this way, the intelligent AMF-i system achieves adaptive filleting with highest yield with no human intervention needed.

Nobody wants to portion poultry fillets with too much giveaway. Marel’s I-Cut 122 TrimSort is the ideal solution to this. Not only you can do superfast multiple cuts on two lanes; you can also add value to the off-cuts by separating these strips, medallions or cubes from the fixed-weight main product and send them off to further downstream processing via the second inner conveyor belt. I-Cut can be combined with many other Marel systems to form intelligent solutions, like a 'Robot with a Knife', a Strip Cutting Line or a Cubing Line.
