Based on gathered data, Marel's fillet distribution system can completely control the destination of each individual product. For each breast meat product, while it is lying on the conveyor belt, essential information about quality, weight, size, shape and position is known to the system. By combining these data with the incoming customer orders, the intelligent distribution software calculates the best allocation for every product.
The vertically switching SystemFlex belts are instructed by the distribution software to transfer the products to various destinations, be it an I-Cut 122 portion cutter, a RoboBatcher or a bulk bin. Multiple switching belts can be combined, to compose an intelligent transfer system.
