The I-slice 135 pre-slices whole sides of smoked salmon fillets and similar products. It has a cutting angle of 8°-45°. The I-Slice 135 is the most versatile machine on the market, producing D-cut slices with fixed weight, fixed angle and thickness or fixed length.
Each fillet is weighed and then scanned by a vision camera which means very high levels of accuracy are achieved. The laser vision system measures the volume and also the size of the fillet. The computer then compares the weight and volume and calculates the cutting profile to meet the specifications for the final product. During the slicing of the last part of each fillet, a product holder is activated which enables cutting at high speed while preserving the accuracy of the weight of each slice.
Catering and retail packs
After slicing, the fillet is delivered automatically as a whole pre-cut side on a board. It is then manually placed onto the outlet roller conveyor. Alternatively, for production of retail packs, the machine can be combined with a packing line, where the sliced product goes directly from the slicer onto the outlet conveyor, without using a board.
The I-slice 135 is also available as a multi-angle slicer with cutting angle ranges of 10°-68° or 8°-66°.
