The Standard flowline
The Standard Flowline is designed to be part of an integrated processing solution from the receiving of the whole fish to the dispatch of the end product, allowing processors to operate at maximum capacity.
The ergonomic design, streamlining of processing and continuous data collection, enable processors to greatly reduce processing time and enhance worker performance while enabling a much higher throughput as well as improved yield and product quality.
Standard Flowlines can be used for manual filleting and trimming of small groundfish (haddock, Alaska pollock), farmed whitefish (tilapia, pangasius, catfish) and small salmonids (rainbow trout).
How it works
Standard Flowlines have separate conveyors for all incoming and outgoing products. The top conveyor delivers the incoming product, a second conveyor transports all outgoing product, and a third conveyor transports off-cuts.
Each flowline has a number of operator workstations, equipped with a worktable with bins for products and trimmings, and all raw material is automatically conveyed to and from the operators. This involves far less handling and significantly increases capacity compared to a manual table or tray system.
Handling all raw material in a continuous flow considerably reduces the processing time and helps increase worker productivity.

With Innova Software Solutions fish processors can monitor and control their filleting and/or trimming process. Innova enables managers to identify which products are being processed, which employee is working at which station, and which lot is active, as well as trace the raw material to its original purchase order.
Managers gain detailed information on all key data such as throughput, yield and individual employee performance, thereby enabling targets and criteria to be established and measured. The solution provides both real-time and historical data on a live display and in reports to evaluate system performance.
