Continued support at AVI Africa

At the annual AVI Africa exhibition, Marel Poultry's stand was experiencing great interest from processors from all over the African continent.

AVI Africa took place from June 21st to 23rd at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. It is the largest poultry industry exhibition on the African continent catering for all industry role players from integrated producers to suppliers and developing farmers and processors.

The exhibition coincided with the annual SAPA (South African Poultry Association) congress and as such attracted many of the existing producers ranging from the large, well established companies to the truly start-up processors from across the continent.

As the leading global provider of advanced poultry processing systems and services, Marel Poultry was present at the exhibition to show continued support to the African poultry industry.

The exhibition days saw many of the existing South and Southern African producers visit the Marel Poultry booth to catch up with the team and to enjoy further discussions on solutions and insights into the poultry industry as well as our new Marel Poultry identity, which was received in a positive light. Possible new entrants to the Southern African markets were also met with.

At our booth, we took the lead in advancing food processing with innovative, solutions that add more value to poultry processes. Innovations such as Stork Nuova CoreTech, SmartWeigher, Innova software control, Smartline Grader and AMF-BX FlexControl attracted a lot of attention from the visitors.
